Bobby Agent OS — Self-Modifying Multi-Channel AI Operator

A production AI agent designed and built end-to-end on a dedicated M-Series Edge Server, networked via Tailscale. Bobby operates across five surfaces — Telegram, web dashboard, Twitter, Ghost CMS, and GitHub. The architecture is an Express.js orchestration layer wrapping the Anthropic SDK, with smart per-message model routing across Claude Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.6, and Haiku 4.5. Memory is a four-store system — LanceDB vector search, a verbatim layer capturing both sides of every exchange, a validity store with temporal Phase 3A tracking (valid_from / valid_until / superseded_by), and a scope store auto-tagging each memory across six context dimensions via keyword inference and channel signals. A self-reconciling integrity check runs before every scheduled backup, catching orphan records, count mismatches, and enum violations automatically. Scanner subreddits, model selection, and lead-quality thresholds are externalized to editable config files with graceful fallback — no code changes required. Bobby runs concurrent production and staging environments under PM2 supervision, with daily backup automation, millisecond-precision timestamps, and retention pruning.
